SCUBAPITI is based at the charming hotel "les Tipaniers" that is conveniently located for most other accommodations on the North and West coasts of Moorea. We are approximately a 30-minute drive from Vaiare ( central quay for all boat services to and from Papeete ) and slighty less from the airport. Our dive center faces one of the most beautiful white sand beaches within the island.
We are a small and friendly dive center. Daniel, the owner, along with Henri and Jeff will welcome you and share with you the naturel wonders of the lagoon and ocean.
Our emphasis is on safe, enjoyable diving, and conservation of Moorea's unique underwater environment. Most of the dives are drifting ones: The captain stops the boat, places and waits for divers immersion then he stays on the boat to supervise. At the safety stop the instructor inflates the safety sausage and the captain recovers everybody. We do not practice shark feedings.
Drift dive
Our very comfortable 28-foot boat holds 14 divers. Its roof protects you from the sun and the tank racks are positioned behind the seats giving you lots of space to equip yourselves easily and move about freely
